Yesterday was the Temiskaming Art Gallery’s very first Art in the Park of this year! Despite the heat there was a great turnout with so many people joining us for a fun night of food, art, and music.
The musicians who performed were from St. Paul’s Coffee House group. The performing groups included Deanna & Rachel, Lucas & Brandon, Onville & friends, Glenna & Julie, Me You & Lou, Jeff Manners, and Memories. They were all superb musicians, and the variety of performers and music ensured that there was something for everyone to enjoy listening to last night.
The children who were there had the opportunity to express their creativity by painting rocks in all sorts of colourful designs, and by helping to fill in a beautiful landscape scene.
The barbecue was very popular, but that’s not surprising considering the burgers, hotdogs, and sausages were from Quality Meats. The butter tarts and brownies from the Orchard were also very popular, undoubtably because they’re so yummy!
We also had some amazing vendors last night. They displayed their beautiful paintings and drawings, wonderfully woven designs, rubber ducks for racing, haskap berries and jam, pottery, and many more beautiful and intricate creations for sale.
