This summer, in lieu of our 8 week Art in the Park, the Temiskaming Art Gallery will be engaging in community projects to support art and culture in our community while respecting the COVID-19 provincial restrictions. The first of these initiatives is a community-based, temporary art installation on display for the summer months. We will be decorating trees around the Haileybury downtown core, waterfront pavilion and around the Temiskaming Art Gallery. Colourful yarn and material will be woven over the trees, spreading joy and art to those who live and pass through our community this summer.
🌳 We would like to invite you to participate by decorating a tree in front of your home! Submit a photo of your tree as well as an address/location so we can ad it to our growing photo gallery and map!🌲

*Environmental awareness and impact is a priority here at TAG and we are actively monitoring the trees for the duration of the project to track possible damage, decay or gurtaling. Remember to tie your yarn, avoid using staples or nails, check frequently for decay and watch for consecutive wet weather which may cause mold. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about this project. We appreciate your support and hope that you will join us in this community art installation. Thank you

Past Art in the Park- 2019

Following the provincial restrictions the 2020 Art in the Park year will look different than it has in the past. However this annual event will continue to go strong and we look forward to hosting more of the live music, art vendors and entertainers that you have come to know and love in our 2021 Art in the Park season.

Art in the Park is a series of weekly festivities celebrating art, music, and culture in the Haileybury Pavilion every Wednesday evening from 6-8pm during the months of July and August. You’ll be sure to find great local and travelling guest performers, bands, and musicians in addition to our fabulous arts and crafts market, BBQ, and activities for the kids!
