Painting Tutorials - 'At Home Art' 11

Today I thought folks might like to try painting. Youtube is a great place to find free painting tutorials. Spend some time browsing to see if you find a painting that you would love to paint. Below are 5 links to painting tutorials that I think would be fun to paint. The first three are in acrylic and go from easy to more difficult, for kindergarten, medium/beginner and hard/intermediate. The fourth link is in watercolour and the fifth in oil if you want to try your hand at it! Make it a ‘wine and paint’ by video chatting over a glass of wine with your ‘bestie’.

If you don’t have all the proper tools or materials use what you have. You can paint on paper or over an old canvas, use pastels or crayons instead of paint and if you are missing a color or two consider switching the look of the work by using different colors. Think of it as an invitation to exercise your artistic license! I hope you enjoy trying one of these painting tutorials from home! Please feel free to like and share. If you do paint along we would love to see your finished product. Take a picture and tag us #temiskamingartgallery.

That's it for now. Have a great day folks. Toon in tomorrow for another great art/craft idea. To look back at previous posts check out our website blog at
