Jeanette Campbell set out to express as best as she could the emotional impact that the people and places of the north had on her. Her work is mostly in watercolours, pen and ink, etchings, oils, acrylics and batik. She taught art at Northern College in Timmins, for the Temiskaming School Board of Education and Haileybury School of Mines. She moved here from southern Ontario in 1975. Jeanette was born and raised in Toronto where she had her first art show at the age of 13. She studied art at the Central Technical Institute in Hamilton and then at the Dundas Valley School of Art. Jeanette has exhibited in solo and group shows across Canada, the USA, Britain and Europe. Her works are in collections in London Ontario and Victoria BC.
