Due to the current precautions being taken over the next several weeks TAG has decided to provide some ideas for crafts/art/activities at home. These will be in line with the planned scheduled activities that have been postponed.
Today we were to have our Assemblage workshop with Lionel Venne at the Open Studio Libre and it's also Saint Patrick's Day so I have selected a few Saint Patrick's Day options as well.
The first link is a simple video about how to create an assemblage using simple recycled objects and things found around the house. It's great to get you started, and the kids in the video also chose to paint theirs green, how appropriate!
The next two links are for Celtic knots. These can be done with para-cord or any other type of rope. If you do them in the center of your rope you can turn it into a necklace, as seen in this picture here. The last link is for a beautiful painted pasta necklace for our little friends.
