Community Mosaic Mural Project

About the Project

In response to the worldwide pandemic, the Temiskaming Art Gallery invited artists from all over the region to join us in the creation of a permanent outdoor mural which is displayed at the old Open Studio Libre (OSL).

Participants were asked to contribute mini-paintings reflecting the wilderness and wildlife of Northern Ontario. These mini works were assembled, varnished and mounted into a large collaborative work reflecting the diversity of our community and surrounding ecosystems.
