Art in the Park Coordinator

Contract position runs from July 4 to August 29. It is a 35 hour work week including occasional evening and weekend work.

Salary: $16.00/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Help with set-up, take down and running of weekly festival

  • Assist with setup, take down, and running of family art activities

  • Create, administer, and report on feedback surveys and keep records of attendance

  • Assist Executive Director with reports for funding sources for the festival

Skills Required:

  • Bilingualism preferred

​

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Prior related and relevant experience is considered an asset

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (listening, verbal and written abilities) to work well as a team member

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work performed, as well as the ability to complete tasks safely within assigned time frames

  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)

  • Computer proficiency and design experience an asset
