Karl Chevrier is an Algonquin artist from Timiskaming First Nation, Notre Dame du Nord, Quebec. This new exhibition features both sculpture and painting and centres on a full-size, hand-made canoe surrounded by paintings involving natural forest materials. Central to Karl Chevrier's work is respect for the land and a deep reverence for the heritage of the Algonquin people.

Hap Wilson is an artist, photographer, author, guide and environmentalist who believes that harmonic bliss is a double shot of single malt in a hot chocolate, a dry pair of wool socks, a rapid, or a wicked tail wind. He says he interminably escapes responsibility by propping himself in a canoe or on a pair of snowshoes and sets off for points unknown.
